Salaam, Asdiqa!

This is our little blog from Oman that we thought might be nice to set up for the benefit of our family and friends who feel we are not keeping in touch as often as we should. I agree, and emails will continue but these ramblings will hopefully fill in the gaps.

We're a family of 4 consisting of The Captain, our son and daughter...and me (NOT Wincie Weather, thank you ZQ!).

We've been here 2 years and that has flashed past - we thought we'd be here for at least 2 years and that is almost over. We truly love it here, it is perfect for the outdoorsy family as we are...and we even manage with the 'niggles' of living in an Arab country...niggles are all they are...a contemplative and thankful glance at the mountains, the sea or the blue sky and sanity is quickly restored!

And please, pretty please, ASK me before you use any photos from here. I love taking pictures and I'd like to know where they're heading!
