Farewell, Ark...

HMS Ark Royal is to be decommissioned as part of the latest defence review in the UK....I first met the Captain on board back in 1994 so I've always had a soft spot for this beautiful (yes, I find ships beautiful, alright...) flagship.
I will dig out and post a photo taken of her when I was onboard.

I was a little concerned to read that as a result of this latest review the harrier will be axed and so no aircraft will be flown from British aircraft carriers until 2019. Yep, that'll do it David.
